About the Opportunity
Niethville is building cloud data engineering capacity to support the technical build behind data warehousing, pipeline development, and modern reporting architecture for public sector and enterprise clients.
Typical Projects You May Support
- Data pipeline design and development (batch and streaming)
- Cloud data warehouse implementation (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse)
- ETL/ELT development supporting data platform migrations
- Data model design for warehousing and reporting environments
- Integration between source systems and the data platform
- Data quality validation and monitoring implementation
- Performance tuning for large-scale data pipelines
- Infrastructure-as-code for data platform environments
- Security and access control implementation for data platforms
- Technical documentation for data engineering handoff
- Support for data migration from legacy platforms
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of cloud data engineering experience; Microsoft Fabric or Azure data platform experience preferred
- Strong SQL and pipeline development background
- Experience building production data pipelines at enterprise scale
- Public sector or regulated-industry experience an asset
Preferred Platforms
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Python for data engineering
Industry Experience
Government, financial services, healthcare, enterprise
Professional Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate and Azure Data Engineer certifications
Security Clearance
Reliability Status: typical minimum given access to organizational data; Enhanced Reliability for select federal mandates.
