About the Opportunity
Niethville is building cloud infrastructure and architecture capacity to support migration and modernization programs that move public-sector and enterprise clients from on-premises or legacy environments to cloud and hybrid platforms.
Typical Projects You May Support
- Cloud migration strategy and landing zone design
- Workload assessment and migration wave planning
- Network architecture design for hybrid and cloud environments
- Cost optimization and cloud governance framework design
- Infrastructure-as-code implementation planning
- Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity architecture
- Security and compliance architecture for cloud environments
- Endpoint and data centre modernization planning
- Migration runbook development and cutover planning
- Vendor and OEM coordination for infrastructure procurement
- Post-migration optimization and cost governance
- Technical documentation for operations handoff
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of cloud infrastructure and migration experience; Azure or AWS environments preferred
- Experience leading migration programs from on-premises or legacy data centres
- Comfort working alongside hardware and OEM procurement processes
- Public sector or regulated-industry migration experience preferred
Preferred Platforms
Azure, AWS, VMware, network and data centre infrastructure, Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, HP, Lenovo hardware ecosystems
Industry Experience
Government, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare
Professional Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware certifications an asset
Security Clearance
Reliability Status is typically the minimum requirement. Enhanced Reliability may be required for select federal infrastructure mandates.
