About the Opportunity
Niethville is building cybersecurity and identity and access management capacity to support security assessments, compliance readiness, and enterprise risk reduction programs for public sector and enterprise clients.
Typical Projects You May Support
- Security assessment and gap analysis against regulatory or framework requirements
- Identity and access management architecture and implementation support
- Compliance readiness reviews (SOC 2, ISO 27001, government security frameworks)
- Security policy and procedure documentation
- Access review and privileged account management support
- Vulnerability assessment coordination and remediation tracking
- Security awareness training material development
- Incident response plan development and tabletop exercise facilitation
- Vendor security review support for third-party risk management
- Security architecture review for new technology implementations
- Reporting and metrics development for security posture tracking
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years cybersecurity or IAM experience, government or regulated-industry experience preferred
- Experience with compliance frameworks relevant to Canadian public sector engagements
- Comfort conducting both technical assessments and stakeholder-facing reporting
- Enhanced Reliability or Secret clearance strongly preferred given the sensitivity of this work
Preferred Platforms
Identity management platforms, Microsoft Entra ID, security assessment and compliance tooling
Industry Experience
Government, financial services, healthcare, critical infrastructure
Professional Certifications
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security credential; IAM-specific certifications an asset
Security Clearance
Enhanced reliability is typical minimum given the sensitivity of security and identity work; a secret is required for select federal engagements.
